Why Work with Me
Amicable isn't the
same as smart.
I make sure your
divorce is both.
Most divorce mediators are attorneys who added mediation to their practice. My path was different.
Smart, safe, strategic.
We create change.
My Approach
The difference I bring to the table.
Staying out of court takes real work, and it's worth it. But it isn't the finish line. The harder task is walking away with an agreement that still holds when life keeps moving — when incomes change, someone doesn't respect the parenting plan, or a new partner enters the picture.
I've also been through my own divorce, so I know where the real pressure points are. But people don't hire me for my story. They hire me because I'm strategic, steady, and I get things done.
Learn More About MeI think several moves ahead.
A good mediator doesn't just keep the peace in the room. I help you both spot the issues that cause trouble later, ask the questions that are easy to skip, and pressure-test decisions against the years that come after. The choices stay yours. I make sure they're made with clear eyes.
I keep the temperature low so the real work gets done.
Nearly a decade as a therapist, and nearly a decade as an educator before that, taught me that the hardest parts of a divorce are rarely the legal ones. I create a private, steady space to think clearly, and I make sure the emotion in the room never drives the decisions.
I build agreements that hold.
I've seen which ones last after the decree and which quietly fall apart. We don't just settle this. We build something durable enough to carry your family forward.
What I Offer
Three ways to work with me.
Whether you're ending a marriage, navigating the legal process, or rebuilding after a separation,
there's a place to start.
Divorce Mediation
The faster, less expensive, less damaging way through. You and your spouse make the decisions on parenting, finances, property, and support, with me guiding every conversation. No judge. No courtroom. An agreement built by the people who have to live with it. Keeping your own attorney involved along the way is always an option. Many clients simply bring the final agreement to one for review.
Learn moreA Second Set of Eyes
For individuals already working with an attorney. A private sounding board that works alongside your legal team, never instead of it, so you walk into every decision prepared, and nothing slips through the cracks.
Learn moreFuture Family Lab
The decree is signed. Real life is harder than the paperwork. Future Family Lab is for families managing what comes after, when the terms aren't holding, the kids are struggling, or the household dynamic has shifted. Get things back on track before small problems become expensive ones.
